About Me
My name is Nina, nice to meet you! I’m a 30-year-old spaniel lady based in Lahti, Finland. With me lives my little darling, a tricolor cavalier named Halla. She is the poster child of this website.
In 2006, my family welcomed our first dog into our lives – a black&tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Zorro, sparking my love for the breed. After Zorro’s premature passing, we adopted cavalier brothers named Zico & Mökö. Fast forward to early 2015, when I moved independently and got my first own dog, Haiku. Most recently in the summer of 2019, Halla joined our family.
In 2022, I launched the Cavalcadia Blog to share content about dog care and Cavaliers. The next year, I advanced my goals further by finally becoming a registered Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeder, a childhood dream of mine!
With over 18 years of experience with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, I am dedicated to improving the health of the breed. Though my journey as a breeder is just beginning, I am committed to sharing every step with you, embracing both the highs and the lows with integrity, transparency, and authenticity.
As of now, I’m studying to get my bachelor’s degree in business administration specializing in marketing. My points of interest are dog health, nature, gardening, and content creation. I’m a curious person with a constant want to improve my knowledge. 💚🐾

Golden Cavalcadia Mission Statement
Kennel Golden Cavalcadia was founded on the basis of improving the health of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. My mission is to breed well-socialized dogs and prioritize the health and well-being at every stage. Ethical dog breeding for me entails responsible practices like conducting extensive health screenings and genetic testing. This way I strive to provide families with beloved family pets that bring joy and companionship for years to come.
