About Me
My name is Nina, nice to meet you! I’m a 29-year-old spaniel lady located in Päijät-Häme, Finland. I started blogging in 2022 and received the kennel name ‘Golden Cavalcadia’ in 2023.
As of now, I’m studying to get my bachelor’s degree in business administration specializing in marketing. I have owned cavaliers for over 18 years and currently, I live with a tricolor female named Halla. She is the poster child of this website.
When I turned 12 in 2006, my family welcomed our first dog into our lives – a black&tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Zorro, sparking my love for the breed. Fast forward to early 2015, when I moved independently and got my first dog, Haiku. Four years later in the summer of 2019, Halla joined our family.
My points of interest are dog health, nature, gardening, and content creation. I’m a curious person with a constant want to improve my knowledge. I strive to educate myself by attending lectures, courses, and seminars.

Golden Cavalcadia Mission Statement
Kennel Golden Cavalcadia was founded on the basis of improving the health of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. My mission is to breed well-socialized dogs and prioritize the health and well-being at every stage. Ethical dog breeding for me entails responsible practices like conducting extensive health screenings and genetic testing. This way I strive to provide families with beloved family pets that bring joy and companionship for years to come.
